Surabhi Vasisht, a theatrical powerhouse who has captivated Bengaluru’s stage. As the founder and driving force behind Namkampani, she embodies the spirit of theatre, excelling as an actor, director, costume designer, makeup artist, and lighting expert. With a career spanning 19 years, Surabhi has firmly established herself in theatre circles.

Born and raised in Bangalore, Surabhi began her journey at BHS College, where her passion for theatre was ignited with Team Rangasourabha. She later refined her skills at Ninasam, delving into professional theatre with a focus on acting and direction. Over the years, she has delivered remarkable performances with renowned Kannada theatre groups like Sanket, Indian Ensemble, Samudhaya, Spandana, Benaka, Dramanon, Kreative Theatre, Sanchari Theatre, and many more.

But Surabhi’s artistic energy doesn’t stop at the stage. She created Bachha Party, a vibrant initiative under Namkampani that provides a joyful space for children to explore their creativity, loved by kids and parents alike.

Guided by Abhishek Majumdar from Indian Ensemble, Surabhi ventured into directing in 2018. Since then, she has captivated audiences with productions like Sandhaana and Salman Khanana Difficultisu, showcasing her unique vision and theatrical craftsmanship.

Her latest work includes Project Darling, where she contributed as both an assistant researcher and actor. Additionally, her clowning piece, crafted for the Aha! International Children's Theatre Festival 2022 at Rangashankara, continues to enjoy successful runs.
