Ravikumar V, an accomplished Director and Producer with over 30 years of experience in theatre and cinema. A B.Sc. graduate and a 1994-95 alumnus of Abhinaya Taranga, Ravikumar has honed his skills in acting, directing, set design, and lighting. His deep-rooted expertise in theatre has seen him actively contribute as a director and lighting expert for three decades.

Ravikumar transitioned into the film industry in 1995-96, working as an Associate Director in over 32 Kannada and Tamil films. His versatility extends to directing 42 children's theatre productions (including summer workshops), 31 college plays, and 19 productions for amateur theatre groups.

In the realm of television, Ravikumar has directed a range of successful series, including Swati Muttu and Muttina Thene for Udaya TV, Ellarintalla Raji for Suvarna TV, Akanksha for ETV, and Na Ninna Bidalaare, a production under his own banner for Zee TV. He has also directed Tamil series like Rudra Veena, Kotrapatrike, Crime Diary, and Bhojpuri's Ghar Panchda Devi Mayya, as well as the Bengali series Alphon and Hindi's U-turn. His diverse body of work also includes Shivamayam in Tamil.

In addition to his directorial pursuits, Ravikumar holds a Diploma in Cinematography (2001-02), and served as the Principal of the Bangalore Film and Television Institute from 2006-09, where he mentored the next generation of filmmakers.

Ravikumar's expertise also extends to ad-film direction, with over 24 ad-films to his credit, working with leading brands like Tanishq Diamonds, TVS Star City, Halls, ONGC, SLN Coffee, Mango Maaza, Lifebuoy, Sugar Free Natura, Air Deccan, Complan, and Samsung Warehouse.
