On February 7, 2020, SSMRV College performed the play Naanu Chandraguptanemba Mourya at the Sourabha 2020 State Level Intercollege Theatre Competition. Directed by Maltesh Bedigere and written by Mahantesh Navalkar, the play explores the life and rise of Chandragupta Maurya, the founder of the Mauryan Empire. The narrative delves into his journey from being a commoner to becoming a powerful emperor with the guidance of Chanakya. It portrays the political intrigues and strategic brilliance that helped establish one of ancient India's greatest dynasties​.
