On February 3, 2020, Sheshadripuram Commerce College, Magadi Road, performed the play Bheemana Pratigyne at the Sourabha 2020 State Level Intercollege Theatre Competition. Directed by Umashankar H B, this play, written by Mahakavi Ranna, is based on the epic Mahabharata, focusing on Bhima's vow to avenge the humiliation of Draupadi during the infamous dice game. The narrative captures Bhima's strength and unwavering commitment to justice, exploring themes of vengeance, honor, and familial loyalty. The performance stood out for its intense portrayal of Bhima’s determination, resonating with the audience on the values of courage and integrity.
