On February 3, 2024, Nagarjuna Degree College performed the play Krishnegowdana Aane at the Sourabha 2024 State Level Inter-College Theatre Competition, directed by Prasanna D C and written by the renowned Kannada writer Poornachandra Tejasvi. The story is a sharp satirical commentary on society and human nature, revolving around Krishnegowda, a wealthy man, and his prized elephant.

Through the unfolding events, Tejasvi critiques societal hierarchies, exposing the folly of materialism and human arrogance. This play, filled with witty dialogues and vivid character portrayals, serves as a humorous yet thought-provoking reflection on the societal obsession with wealth and prestige.
